The St Clement's Players
The St Clement's Players were founded in February 2018, under the direction of St Clement's Director of Music, Mr Karol Jaworski. The chamber orchestra performs once or twice a term, preparing works for chamber on minimal rehearsal. The players are drawn from volunteers across Cambridge, featuring both students of the university, as well as graduates and residents living in the town. Often performing as part of Lunchtime Recitals at St Clement's, the orchestra presents popular classical works, sometimes working with talented instrumental soloists from Cambridge or London, or accompanying choirs and singers in performance of oratorios or larger choral works.
St Clement's Players welcomes enquiries from all orchestral players, particularly upper strings, interested in playing with our ensemble. We may also have opportunities for soloists interested in playing with our orchestra. For more details, please contact Karol via email at: stclementscambridge+music@gmail.com.
